Jeep Wrangler LED Work Light/LED Light Bar Installation Process

I believe if you are a Jeep Wrangler owner, you must be very familiar to LED work light and led light bar. They are the products so fitted to Jeep Wrangler this vehicle. With the led work light and led light bar on your car, it will look totally difference and full of power.

Today we just install LedoAuto brand new LED work light and led light bar for our clients, I photographed the entire installation process aiming at exhibiting this amazing product with you. I believe once you begin to modify your car, you can’t stop to think how to make it better. We all being like this, haha.

Volkswagen Phaeton Modify All Interior Lights into LEDs

Volkswagen Phaeton is a very luxury car in VW family, but the outlook is not very special, or we can say it is very normal so that many people take it for new Passat. In China, Many public servant drive a Phaeton but change the logo on the rear into Passat to hide their wealth and corruption. But it looks strange because the Passat is smaller much on size.

For Volkswagen cars modification, we usually meet CANbus problem. Like LED headlight, it’s very popular now on the market. But we are hard to find a 100% fit LED headlight conversion to VW cars. In the majority of cases, we will meet computer error(CANBus problem), or the bulbs can’t fit to the headlamp because lack of a adaptors. And for the other exterior lights, we may need to connect the resistor to the bulbs while we install it. Because VW cars have a serious electronic inspect system to every single electronic component on his car. If the working power don’t reach their demand, the computer will alarm and tell you that your component is broken. Resistor can help to improve the working power, cheat to the CANbus system. But it is being complicated to connect resistor, and sometimes the led bulbs will still burn because of bad quality and high working temperature. So we suggest you to use PHILIPS and Osram halogen bulbs to replace your stock one. It won’t have any CANBus problem, simple installation, nice quality. Although it will be being dimmed after 2 or 3 years of use, you can modify again as it is not that complicated.

But for interior light, led lights is better than halogen bulbs. VW cars don’t have a very high working power standard to interior light, which offer the market to led bulbs. Normally CANbus led bulbs can work well on the interior light without computer error problem . That while we choose led lights, it can be much bright, good color temperature, saving power and longer life span. And if your family like reading in the car. LED lights could protect your eyes. So here I modify all my interior light into LEDs. You can see it looks upgraded and better. I love this pure white color, just like our desk lamp, looks comfortable.

2010 Toyota Corolla DIY Modify LED Dome Light

The Toyota Corolla is the most hot selling compact sedan not only on the Japan market but also on the international market. It don’t have a very good outlook, not very spacious in side. But how to say, it is worth to its price. Not bad driving engine, comfortable, low fuel consumption, and less problem happens for long time driving. I have a Corolla too. That is my family car, my wife drive it and go to school with my son and pick up him back home from school. It is a long driving distance between school and my home, maybe will take 1 hour driving distance. Sometimes my son have to write his homework on the car so he have free time to play with neighborhood kids, so a bright dome light is important. That is why I decide to replace my stock dome light into LED.

It is not difficult to upgrade your dome light.

1, take out the cover of the front dome light, there is a screw in the middle, take it out, and you are able to take the cover out by loose 4 pcs of snap on the corners. 

2, See, after take out the cover, we can see the front dome light bulb there. Just swap it out and install the led dome light bulb.

3, the dome light bulb is BA9S base. You could prepare the bulbs before you get ready to DIY.

4, Finish installtion of the front dome light. 

5, This is the cover of rear dome light, there are three snaps on it, loose it and take the cover out.

6, See the dome light there, I have upgraded it by LED bulb, festoon 36mm. 

7, 6500K white color is good for children’s eyes.

8, Finish, I just open the rear light, good lighting. 

New LED Rear Light Modified to New Volkswagen Beetle

It is not double that Volkswagen Beetle is a reliable car with amazing appearance design and wonderful performance. But for our car modded lover, good is not enough. We love special. Modded car is a such interesting thing that you can’t help wanting to do DIY again and again. Once you do it first time, we will keep wondering how to make it better. It is the fun to never satisfy. Today I will share with you my new turning method on Volkswagen beetle, the rear light.

You will say that the stock rear light is beautiful. Yeah, it is beautiful. But in my opinion, it is not bright enough. Just like a beautiful eye is lack of that kind of spirit and charming. So today I wanna give her a pair of led bright eyes.

Disassembly process is very simple. See the original diagram to complete the repair.

A.      Open plush guard, loosen the plastic screws by hand, remove the plug (first lift the red bezel, hold down the clip to be removed), swap out the rear light.

B.      Removing the original car chassis bezel taillights and tailgate rainwater diversion, Reassembling on the new LED taillights

C.      Fllow the step A and install the led rear light back.

Finish, let’s see the final effect of this new led rear light.

Mini Cooper Osram LED Fog Light Upgrade, Double Brightnees and Pure White

Our this customer have been driving his Mini Cooper for 4 years. Everything works well. But fog lights is being dull. He come to ask us if any good option to change the fog light. We suggest him to upgrade it by Osram LED fog light, we know the Osram fog light kit will fit to Mini quietly well, plug and play, no computer error. The most important is simple installation, swapping out the light bulbs only instead of replacing the whole housing. Our customer adopt my proposal.  

Here is the installation process. You could see there is a cover behind the fender, open the fender we could directly see the side marker bulbs and fog light bulb. Here we only need to swap the stock bulb out and install the H8 led fog light in. If you are hard to put your hand into the the housing to get the bulb out, you could remove the tire firstly, then you have large space to operate.

Please see the LED bulb and stock halogen bulb lighting comparison. White lighting is so obvious even at the day time and light up nearly 20 meter roads on front of you. It’s really a amazing upgrade.
