Cadillac XTS Upgrading Furiou 8 LED Accent Light

New LED Accent light kit installed on Cadillac XTS. LED accent light has been proved to show on the movie Furious 8. So recently we modify many cars and prepare for the hot time coming. We believe led accent light will be so hot in next year and many people will be interested in this item.

LED accent lights actually consist of some flexible led strip lights. The key point on installation is how to connect the lights with power and how to hide the wires. Don’t like other automotive led products with small size and high brightness, LED strip lights has low lumen output and enough size for heat conductive. So it is much stable and won’t burn easily. Like the RGB LED strip light we are using now, our supplier offer us 2 years warranty, temperately see no defective products appear now.

After installation, we can see this Cadillac XTS looks upgrading and definitely awesome, a luxury sedan is spiced up and being a little romantic, this is just a conserve modification, actually we can make it more assertive, besides, we are developing a APP to control the led accent light, which will be funny and amazing. Chevrolet Cruze Simple DIY LED Accent Light

Actually this is modified by RGB flexibleled glow light. Connect the wires with front dome light and power the bead chips. The accent light will be turned on with front dome light with amazing lighting effect at nighttime driving. We can have a better life. Just let’s begin to DIY it.

Chevrolet AVEO Upgrading Backup Reverse Lighting

If you are a AVEO owner, do you ever consider to upgrade the reverse light? I see a post on the Forum discussing this question. It seems that the factory yellow reverse bulbs is not bright enough to work at nighttime.

Some guys suggest to turn on the rear fog light while parking and that would be absolutely helpful. Some guys suggest to install a reversing camera. But actually, upgrading the reverse bulbs could be the easiest way to solve this problem. For Chevrolet AVEO, we can take out the rear lamp to replace the factory halogen bulbs and install a LED lights to improve the lumen. Please notice that the led bulb we selected for our car reverse light should be no projector. Because the projector will focus the lighting and make it reflect on a range of angel with brighter lumen. But there is only one rear reverse light on AVEO, we need to make the lighting be wider so that we can be clear vision on the side without reverse light.

Here is my upgrading on reverse light for your reference. After modification, the brightness could reach over double times than the factory yellow bulb.  

2015 Mazda CX-5 9005 Base LED Daytime Running Light Upgrade

Mazda CX-5 is a spacious car with good model. In China, it is one of the bestselling car. But while we browse CX-5 forum we will notice that many owners complaint 2015 Mazda CX-5 don’t have daytime running light, even though the deluxe version have, it is the yellow factory halogen light, but not the pure white led daytime running light as we see on other SUV. Some clients buy the OEM FIT LED DRL to installed upon the fog lamp, like the picture below. It looks nice but will keep opening even at night, which isn’t the true daytime running light.

After our long time developing, today we have the solution to the Mazda CX-5 to install a true led daytime running light. This is a 9005 base 5050-CANBus led bulb connected to a driver with wires. Why does it need a driver? Because the Mazda CX-5 don’t have daytime running light design, we will need to connect this bulb to the headlight high beam, after installation and start up the factory DRL function from computer, we can control the DRL by gear and low beam headlight. Once we start the engine and put the car in N, D gear, the led DRL will be lighted up, once we put the car in P gear, the LED DRL will be turn off , and once we turn on the low beam headlight, the led DRL will also be turned off. Compared to the all the way turn on led DRL, this one could be better a lot on real working.

See this 2015 Mazda CX-5 with our 9005 base 5050-CANBus led bulb as LED DRL. It is better a lot than the factory bulb ,right?

2012 1.6T Nissan Bluebird DIY LED Dome Light Upgrade

I think if you ever come to China, you will notice that there are many Nissan Bluebird on the street. This car is hot on China market because of the spacious space, low fuel comsuption. Many Uber driver get business with their Nissan Bluebird and Toyota Carola. 98 000 CNY is very competitive price as an imported vehicle. But there is a common problem for the cars on this price. It is the dome light. While drive at night, we are hard to find the thing inside our bag because of the dimmed dome light. Compared to the new sedan or new SUV over 200 000 CNY, they have LED dome light now, very bright and convenient for driver and rear passengers. So I think it is necessary to upgrade our car with led dome light also. Is it difficult to replace the light? No, definitely not difficult. You absolutely can DIY it by yourself.

Please kindly see my working process. We open the dome light cover by a flat head screwdriver, after that we can see the dome is just a T10 base halogen bulbs. Here we can choose to replace it with a T10 LED light, or LED panel light. I choose LED panel light because it will be brighter much. There is 3M tape on the rear side of the panel light. So after connect the adapter, we stick the panel light on the top by 3M tape, and install the cover back, we can have a bright led dome light.

 See, it is not difficult, right? But it really helps and being convenient on driving at night.

Chevrolet Cruze License Plate LED Logo Projector Light Kit

Normally while people mention logo projectorlight, we will thought that is the door light for accent decoration. But today we will see another logo projector light installed on the license plate light. This is a new design on the market. We can see from the pictures. The led logo projector light is installed on the license plate light and will light with a Chevrolet logo on the rear ground. Compared to the old logo projector light, this one will be much awesome and make you be unique on the street. 

But the installation will be a little complicated, as we know, the stock bulbs on license plate light usually are T10 base bulb or festoon bulb, which are simple bulbs and can’t be designed with projector function. So we will pop off the full wires and lamp of the license plate light; install the new led logo projector light kit. 

Complicated install process but pretty looking, I still think it is worth to try.

Jeep Wrangler LED Work Light/LED Light Bar Installation Process

I believe if you are a Jeep Wrangler owner, you must be very familiar to LED work light and led light bar. They are the products so fitted to Jeep Wrangler this vehicle. With the led work light and led light bar on your car, it will look totally difference and full of power.

Volkswagen Phaeton Modify All Interior Lights into LEDs

Volkswagen Phaeton is a very luxury car in VW family, but the outlook is not very special, or we can say it is very normal so that many people take it for new Passat. In China, Many public servant drive a Phaeton but change the logo on the rear into Passat to hide their wealth and corruption. But it looks strange because the Passat is smaller much on size.

For Volkswagen cars modification, we usually meet CANbus problem. Like LED headlight, it’s very popular now on the market. But we are hard to find a 100% fit LED headlight conversion to VW cars. In the majority of cases, we will meet computer error(CANBus problem), or the bulbs can’t fit to the headlamp because lack of a adaptors. And for the other exterior lights, we may need to connect the resistor to the bulbs while we install it. Because VW cars have a serious electronic inspect system to every single electronic component on his car. If the working power don’t reach their demand, the computer will alarm and tell you that your component is broken. Resistor can help to improve the working power, cheat to the CANbus system. But it is being complicated to connect resistor, and sometimes the led bulbs will still burn because of bad quality and high working temperature. So we suggest you to use PHILIPS and Osram halogen bulbs to replace your stock one. It won’t have any CANBus problem, simple installation, nice quality. Although it will be being dimmed after 2 or 3 years of use, you can modify again as it is not that complicated.

But for interior light, led lights is better than halogen bulbs. VW cars don’t have a very high working power standard to interior light, which offer the market to led bulbs. Normally CANbus led bulbs can work well on the interior light without computer error problem . That while we choose led lights, it can be much bright, good color temperature, saving power and longer life span. And if your family like reading in the car. LED lights could protect your eyes. So here I modify all my interior light into LEDs. You can see it looks upgraded and better. I love this pure white color, just like our desk lamp, looks comfortable.
