New LED Rear Light Modified to New Volkswagen Beetle

It is not double that Volkswagen Beetle is a reliable car with amazing appearance design and wonderful performance. But for our car modded lover, good is not enough. We love special. Modded car is a such interesting thing that you can’t help wanting to do DIY again and again. Once you do it first time, we will keep wondering how to make it better. It is the fun to never satisfy. Today I will share with you my new turning method on Volkswagen beetle, the rear light.

You will say that the stock rear light is beautiful. Yeah, it is beautiful. But in my opinion, it is not bright enough. Just like a beautiful eye is lack of that kind of spirit and charming. So today I wanna give her a pair of led bright eyes.

Disassembly process is very simple. See the original diagram to complete the repair.

A.      Open plush guard, loosen the plastic screws by hand, remove the plug (first lift the red bezel, hold down the clip to be removed), swap out the rear light.

B.      Removing the original car chassis bezel taillights and tailgate rainwater diversion, Reassembling on the new LED taillights

C.      Fllow the step A and install the led rear light back.

Finish, let’s see the final effect of this new led rear light.

Mini Cooper Osram LED Fog Light Upgrade, Double Brightnees and Pure White

Our this customer have been driving his Mini Cooper for 4 years. Everything works well. But fog lights is being dull. He come to ask us if any good option to change the fog light. We suggest him to upgrade it by Osram LED fog light, we know the Osram fog light kit will fit to Mini quietly well, plug and play, no computer error. The most important is simple installation, swapping out the light bulbs only instead of replacing the whole housing. Our customer adopt my proposal.  

Here is the installation process. You could see there is a cover behind the fender, open the fender we could directly see the side marker bulbs and fog light bulb. Here we only need to swap the stock bulb out and install the H8 led fog light in. If you are hard to put your hand into the the housing to get the bulb out, you could remove the tire firstly, then you have large space to operate.

Please see the LED bulb and stock halogen bulb lighting comparison. White lighting is so obvious even at the day time and light up nearly 20 meter roads on front of you. It’s really a amazing upgrade.    

Lexus RX 6000 K Warm White LED Dome Light Modify

Honestly said, while we mention car light modify, we will remind LED headlight, which is hot now on the market. Most of us neglect the dome light and don’t realize that actually led dome light these small LEDs could make a huge difference in the overall ambiance of the car.

Look at this Lexus RX which has upgraded the dome light into LED! You can compare the side by side of the new led dome light with the stock halogen dome lights and see the huge difference that led lights make for a car. Did you ever take a taxi at night and can see clearly the money in your wallet because of the dimmed dome light? This thing won’t happen if the car is all decked out in led lights. 

Buick Verano Swichback LED Turn Signal Modify with Installation Process

Buick Verano, honestly said, I am very pleased to this car, it is the most comfortable, well appointed, sleek looking car compared to the other cars with similar price. Although today I would like to share with you how to change the turn signal light into led, I don’t means the stock bulb is terrible. Just because I am a auto modification enthusiasts. As we know, led lights are more energy-efficient, brighten up immediately when power on, and higher brightness. It is such a good technology to adapt on vehicle and while I turn on turn signal light, people will definitely notice it and faster. That is why I change the stock bulbs into LED.

It is not difficult to change the Verano turn signal light. Don’t need to punch and cut wires. Just directly open the lip, find the bulbs, take them out, replace the bulbs by LEDS, put them back, Finish. Here is my installation process for your reference.

The LED turn signal light I chosen is the 3030 switchback LED turn signal light. I have to say it is fucking bright, even brighter than CREE high power bulb. And I get 4 years warranty also.

Verano is spacious and comfortable, I don’t think too much upgrades is necessary. But it will truly spice up your car if modify some stock car light into LED.  Go try. 

(1) Here is the 3030 switchback LED turn signal light.

(2) Open the lip, find where is the bulbs, we can clearly see the connector on the left and right behind the headlamp.

(3) Rotate the connector and pull the connector out, swap the stock bulb out.

(4)Change the LED light, connect it on the connector  and put it back to his position.

(5)Turn on the light, see if it works well. If you notice that the light bulb hyperflashing , you should connect the bulb with led resistor, which is easy to find on the Ebay or LedoAuto.com
