Dodge Journey Headlight bulbs Modified

The OEM headlight on my vehicle is dimmed after 3 years driving and being dangerous to drive at night.

Friend introduce me a store to replace my headlight bulbs. The managers named Jeff, a guy from South. Good job to him. Share the replacement process.

Headlight is cold glue and not easy to be moved off. The worker suggest me to use oven, but I think it will hurt the headlight lampshade too. So I don’t want to use oven. That it will take more time and cost more.

See the low beam, really bright, but I think there is flood light, I will drive several days and see if my light will dazzle the driver on front.

Test new 9th Honda Accord 2.4T Original LED Headlight Performance

As we know, 9^th Honda Accord have upgraded its headlight into LED. Compared to the HID, how does it perform? Many Accord lover ask this question on the forum.

Yesterday I get my new Accord and take some pictures about the new led headlight performance while I drive it back home.

It is enough to bright the road. If compared to HID, it is not brighter. But I don’t think HID is necessary. Actually, too bright is not good and not safe on driving. Definitely it will affect the other driver on the road.

So I think Honda arrange this brightness with their reason.

In my opinion, it is wonderful.

Adjust The Height of Headlight Lighting

Do you guys meet this kind of problem? Your headlight low beam can only offer you limited vision in front of you while driving. If you turn on the high beam, it will dazzle the driver opposite. Under this situation, it is to expensive to replace the bulb into HID. May we have another better solution.

I think it is a good way to adjust the height of headlight lighting.

This is the original light height on low beam.

This is the highest height we can reach.

The height I adjust and think it is the most comfortable.

Where the bulbs is. You can try to adjust by yourselves also. Not that difficult as you image.

Conclusion: better lighting than before.  Obviously it can’t be better than replace HID bulbs.

What If Install The Headlamp of Range Rover on Dodge Journey, How does it look like?

Because of my occupation, I notice much more vehicle headlight. Last week, I accompanied with my friend to Land Rover 4S store in Peking, drived and tested the Range Rover. That car, how to say, the interior decoration, the skin of the vehicle, and the power of engine, that is really amazing. Especially the headlamp, I can say it have already been the classic one and hard to be surpassed by new headlamp in a short time. 

I like this headlamp but I just can't afford the car. So I have a crazy thought, What if install the LED headlamp of range rover on Dodge Journey, how does it look like?

It is too hard to find a real Range Rover headlamp from the market. I only can get a imitated one on Ebay.

Hi, friends, I am now studying in Toronto, Canada, a few days ago I bought a Dodge Journey. But it is a second hand car produced on May, 2012, ran nearly 8000kg. It was the car belonged to Chrysler headquarter manager (I search according to the engine No. and know the history of the car including the owner, the accident information). New arrival, this car was sold with discount. 3.6VVT engine, 6-speed gearbox, four-wheel drive, Leather seats, with dormer and so on. It is the maximum configuration of Doge Journey with all option, if new, it will be over US$38 500. For this car, he give me US$30 800. I like this car but just can’t afford a new one, second hand car is my best choice. My friend say this car is worth to this price.
